The Team
Pastor Michael T. Sawicki
Lead Pastor, Midland Campus Pastor
Michael T. has been the pastor at Aldersgate since 2013 and provides leadership for the whole church. Passionate about helping people develop a personal relationship with Jesus, he also enjoys connecting with people over coffee. Michael is happily married to his wife, Patty. They have two daughters. On his day off, you might find Michael enjoying his love of flying in a Cessna over the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond.
Leonard Clevenger
Associate Pastor, Aldersgate Church
Len has been an ordained pastor since 2007. Before starting pastoral ministry, Len worked
internationally in 10 foreign countries and utilizes those cultural and life experiences to address
issues and ministry opportunities in the church. His passions for ministry are witnessing the
saving love of Jesus with those who have not heard the Good News, church renewal and revival,
starting new churches, and advocating for those who are persecuted and imprisoned because of
their Christian faith. Len and his wife Renae have been married for 49 years, and enjoy traveling
the US and the rest of the world.
Leigh Gaffke
Office Manager
Financial Secretary
Leigh runs our office in Midland, organizing schedules, managing supplies, greeting visitors, answering questions, and more! Leigh also handles financial matters including payroll and budget items. If you have a question about anything at Aldersgate, Leigh is here to help!
Jeff Yoder
Worship Team Leader
Jeff Yoder, a talented vocalist, uses his God-given gifts to lead our contemporary service worship band. Jeff is also a high school Chemistry teacher at Midland High School, and is looking forward to his retirement at the end of this year. Congrats, Jeff! In his spare time, he enjoys running and competitive game nights with family and friends.
Addie Maxwell
Discipleship Pathways Director
Known to most as "Miss Addie," Addie has worked at Aldersgate for many years in kids and adult ministries, passionate about drawing near to the Spirit and genuinely building relationships with others. Currently, Addie is responsible for Discipleship Pathways at Aldersgate - making sure all people from the youngest to the oldest grow in their personal relationship with Christ. She is married to her husband, Craig.
Renae Clevenger
Financial Administrator
Renae serves Aldersgate by using her years of accounting expertise to provide strategic financial planning and oversight to all financial statements and activities. When she isn't crunching numbers, Renae loves to needlepoint and travel the world.
Diane Coronado
Pianist + Choir Director
Director of Congregational Care
On any given Sunday, you can find Diane leading our choir and congregants in worship during the 11:00am service. She also makes sure everyone in our community is well loved by facilitating visits to shut-ins and hospitals, organizing drivers to help congregants get to appointments, and more!
Aubrey Stark
Family Ministries Director
Aubrey grew up attending Aldersgate before she left for college. After coming back to Midland and teaching in the public schools for a few years, she felt God calling her to impact kids' lives in a different way. Now "Miss Aubrey" runs our kids, youth, and family ministries, striving to bring families back to the heart of God. Aubrey and her husband, Jesse,
seek to live this call out in their own life as they raise their little girl, with a second daughter on the way!
Jackie Scribner
Facilities Manager
Event Hostess
At Aldersgate, Jackie makes sure our building is always in tip-top condition. In addition to cleaning, repairing, and organizing our facilities, she also serves as our event hostess! You can thank Jackie for organizing and preparing all the yummy treats and beverages you get during coffee hour.
Jeanne Turkelson
Receptionist
Jeanne serves as our receptionist at Aldersgate Midland: greeting guests, answering the phone, and doing various other things to help others. Jeanne's greatest joy in life is spending time with the wonderful family that God has blessed her with.
